Sacha is one of Canada’s fastest-rising country stars. She became an iHeartRadio’s “Future Star” following the success of “What the Truck,” her 2021 viral hit with The Reklaws. Sacha has since been named a member of CMT’s Next Women Of County and featured in CMT, Music Row Magazine, American Songwriter, Rolling Stone Country, Billboard and The Boot.

In early 2022 Sacha released her sophomore EP, We Did and saw the music video for its track “Pretty Please” debut in Times Square. Nominated for Rising Star at the 2022 CCMA Awards this fall, she took the stage on the national broadcast and landed her first-ever CCMA Award for Top Selling Canadian Single for “What The Truck”. That same weekend Sacha was also named the winner of SiriusXM’s Top of The Country contest.

In October 2022, Sacha wrapped up a US tour with Maddie & Tae, which saw her open for the duo on 17 dates across the country. Most of the shows were sold out, and Sacha was the only opening act to bring a full band (and, therefore, take full advantage of these Starmaker-funded dates). The tour was not inexpensive for an emerging artist and her full band. However, Starmaker’s support was invaluable—very much appreciated!

Coming off the tour, Sacha’s management at Starseed has had numerous inquiries from US labels, publishers and agents. Big Loud, Starseed’s management partner in Nashville, has also expressed interest in working more closely with Sacha, and Starseed recently found her a US PR team, The Oriel Company. Sacha was invited to walk the red carpet and attend the exclusive CMT Artists of the Year 2022 Ceremony on October 12 in Nashville.

Starmaker’s support for marketing Sacha’s EP and the upcoming full-length album has also been instrumental to her career growth. Through radio promotion, publicity, and digital marketing, Starseed has grown Sacha’s fan base significantly over the past year and will continue to leverage this support into more growth in streaming, social media, and live touring opportunities.
