NorthSideBenji saw his career reach new heights over the last year with the release of his third project, The Extravagant Collection. The Radio Starmaker Fund was essential in helping Benji achieve some of his recent career achievements, with their funding providing a boost in key markets that brought a heightened awareness and helped position NorthSideBenji amongst the top rappers coming from Canada.

Benji was nominated for his first Juno Award under the Rap Album of the Year category and reached #1 Album on iTunes Canada Charts (All Genres). The project was also heavily supported by Spotify, Amazon, and YouTube, with key Billboards in Toronto and New York City and placement on major playlists. The popular YouTube channel Colors also featured NorthSideBenji with his own video on their platform. He also presented key tracks from the album during his performance slot at the UK Wireless Festival 2022. Other recent achievements directly resulting from Starmaker funding include spins on multiple Sirius XM channels and radio play on the BBC and other UK-based radio stations.
