Success Fact: Wild Rivers

Wild Rivers

With the generous support of Radio Starmaker’s funding, indie trio Wild Rivers played over 100 shows in 10 different countries during 2021/2022. Of these 100 shows - in support of their much-anticipated sophomore album, Sidelines (released February 4th, 2022) - over 50 were sold out. Each time they returned to a market, their venue capacity increased by an average of 85%, amassing total ticket sales of over 40,000.

On their most recent US headline tour (Fall 2022), Wild Rivers upgraded from a sprinter to a Bandwagon; this significantly impacted the routing and the tour strategy by eliminating the arduous travel days and adverse effects on the band and crew’s mental and physical well-being. They also added new tour personnel, including a Lighting Director and Merch Manager/Photographer. Adding a lighting director was critical in elevating the overall visual quality of their live shows by creating a much more dynamic presentation. Adding a merch manager/photographer aided in show marketing through better social media content and overall organization and efficiency of merchandise sales.

Wild Rivers have had a very successful two years of touring, even while experiencing a global pandemic, thanks in part to the incredible support of Radio Starmaker.
