Success Fact: AHI

AHI

Toronto based songwriter and singer AHI (pronounced “eye”) released his album In Our Time in July 2018 and performed 70 shows across Canada, the US, and the UK with the support of the Radio Starmaker Fund’s international touring program over the 2018 - 2019 season. During this time, AHI was privileged to support Americana trio The Lone Bellow on their UK tour through Scotland, England, and Wales; and 2019 Grammy award winner Lauren Daigle on the North American dates of her sold-out Look Up Child tour, where he would represent Canada on some legendary stages, including NYC’s Radio City Music Hall, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and the stunning Red Rocks Amphitheatre nestled in the Colorado mountains.

As a direct result of his Starmaker-supported touring, AHI has performed for hundreds of thousands, grown his international fan base exponentially, surpassed all anticipated sales targets, and received his first JUNO Award nomination in the category of Contemporary Roots Album of the Year for In Our Time. There is no doubt that the support of the Radio Starmaker Fund played an invaluable role in making the past year’s journey all the more impactful and unforgettable.
