Meghan Patrick burst on to the Country scene in 2016 with her debut album, Grace & Grit. The album spawned two Top 10 singles, a Top 15, and a Top 20 single. With her follow up album, Country Music Made Me Do It, Meghan scored her first No. 1 single, “Walls Come Down”, along with her first Top 5 and third Top 10 single.
Over the course of these two releases, Meghan has earned multiple Canadian Music Ontario Award and Canadian Country Music Award nominations and wins. In 2019, Meghan received her first two JUNO nominations for Breakthrough Artist of The Year and Country Album of The Year.
Since her debut album, Meghan has been a huge benefactor from Radio Starmaker in the form funding for domestic marketing, domestic touring, and international touring. Domestic marketing funds have helped her label Warner Music Canada to extend the life cycle of albums and singles by reaching a wider audience with more frequency via national online and radio advertising initiatives.
Domestic touring funds from Radio Starmaker have helped Meghan offset touring costs and pay her musicians stay on the road, ultimately reaching and converting increasingly larger audiences with her high energy live show. International touring funds have helped Meghan make her initial foray into the US market with festival dates in 2018, helping to grow her profile with American talent buyers and audiences.
Meghan’s latest EP, Wild As Me — her first with Riser House Records as a US label partner — was released on September 6, 2019. This was Meghan’s second release to debut in the Top 5 on the Country Albums chart in Canada. Much of Meghan’s artist development and growth trajectory over the last three years can be attributed to the generous, thoughtful support from Radio Starmaker Fund.
