Success Fact: Steve Bell

Steve Bell

The Radio Starmaker Fund is an organization that not only benefits the artist who receives funding directly but also contributes to the burgeoning of partnerships, mentoring and other collaborative relationships within the broader music community.

For example, receiving funding from the RSF makes all the difference between touring solo and being able to take a band on the road. This not only provides access to larger audiences and opens up new markets for members of the group but is also a prime opportunity to mentor musicians who are getting started in the industry.

Funding from Starmaker also affords artists the ability to develop creative capacity. For my Pilgrimage album, the assurance that marketing and miscellaneous tour expenses would be taken care of allowed me that little bit of “wiggle room” to experiment with new sounds and hire musicians that I might not have been able to collaborate with otherwise. Thank you to the Radio Starmaker Fund for your invaluable contributions to my career.
