Success Fact: Ben Caplan

Ben Caplan

The last three years of my career have been years of explosive growth and that is largely due to the support of the Radio Starmaker Fund. As an artist who makes music outside of the mainstream, I have built a career relying on live performance and connecting with fans directly at concert venues and festivals. The RSF has given me the resources to propel that working formula forward and expand my market across Canada and into the US, Europe and Australia.

Thanks to the projects that I was able to mount with the support of Starmaker, I now have outstanding business partners including booking agents and labels in diverse territories around the world. The business and the buzz in international territories amplifies that of Canada and vice versa. In the last three years, I have transformed from a regional artist at home to an international act with sizable followings in a half a dozen countries and strong growth in half a dozen others. The Radio Starmaker Fund provided direct investment that allowed me the ability to focus on the artistry that continues to draw fans in widening circles.
